Pakistan Railway Pakistan Railway Freight Transportation Company Jobs 2021 Pakistan Railway Freight Transportation Company (PRFTC) (Pvt.) Ltd., a subsidiary of Ministry of Railway, intends to hire services of following experts on contract basis for a period of three (03) years (extendable subject to satisfactory performance) for execution, implementation and monitoring of its freight and business-related projects. The company has been formed to enhance the freight volume and freight revenue generation process along with the responsibility to induct projects with business growth possibilities. We intend to build a team of educated, experience and market-based professionals to help produce the desired results with the support of public as well as private sector corporate professionals. With the requisite qualifications and experience are strongly encouraged to apply for the following positions.
Company Secretary/ Chief Financial Officer (CFO)
(i) The candidate must be a member of recognized body of professional accountants or a corporate/chartered secretaries or a person holding a master degree in Business Administration or Human Resource Management or Commerce or being a Law graduate from a recognized university. 45 years
(ii) Having a minimum of Fifteen (15) years of post-qualification relevant work experience in financial reporting, handling Financial Control, Performance Monitoring & MIS of all business units. Accounting system, Business Review System Management and Managing
Financial Analysis and insight is required. The budgeting and forecasting expertise would be a plus specially in a logistics/rail/road evnironment.
(iii) The candidate must meet fit and proper criteria of SECP and should have experience of making financial models, long terms business plan, cash flow projection and must be
able to lead the corporate and financial control of the company.
Director/ Business Planning and Development
(i) The candidate must be a professional holding a master degree, preferably, in Business
Administration from a reputed/ recognized university. The person will be responsible for the business planning & development activities including collaboration, with the private sector as well as other public sector entities. The person will work closely with the management to assist with search, identification, assessing and implementing the revenue generation and business development opportunities through contracts with the relevant commercial stakeholders. 45 Years
(ii) Having a minimum of Fifteen (15) years of post-qualification business planning and development work experience would be required.
(iii) Excellent commercial contacts, professional relationship building, presentation and communications skills required with ability to help negotiate and generate commercial
business for the company.
(iv) Must be energetic, self-starter, result oriented with ability to work effectively in target-oriented environment. Must have in depth exposure of freight, cargo and logistics business with understanding of rail, road logistics.
(i) The candidate must be member of Pakistan Engineering Council having Bachelor / Master Degree in Mechanical Engineering
(ii) Having minimum 15 Years’ experience of execution, implementation and monitoring of
Mechanical Engineering projects. The person must have good knowledge of locomotives, freight cars/wagons, maintenance plan and should be able to develop and command a team of relevant technical professional for the availability assurance of the rail related equipment, including locomotives and freight wagons. Candidate with previous experience
from rail/road company/industry would be preferred. Excellent communication as well as
management skills are required.
Director Operations Support and Coordination
(i) The candidate must possess degree of MBA in supply chain/operation management with experience of Fifteen (15) years in relevant operational support field. Railway officer of Traffic (Transportation & Commercial) group having minimum Fifteen (15) years of core train operations experience are encouraged to apply. The person would be required to lead a team of operations support staff to plan and control schedule departures and
arrivals of freight trains through a collaborative approach with the national railway teams. The person should have the strengths to build an operational support plan to maximize
rail operational efficiency and produce the relevant benefits for long terms freight train operations.
(i) Bachelor’s degree in logistics, business administration/ management, engineering, or related field.
(ii) At least 10 years’ experience with minimum two (02) years as a transportation/freight/logistics manager in a similar industry. Solid knowledge of the freight / cargo industry transportation and logistics is a must. Experience of working with transportation related government regulated environment would be an added advantage.
Should be able to plan the freight business through commercial and operational balances in the organization.
DM – Coal Freight Business
(i) Bachelor’s degree in transportation management, logistics, project management, or similar preferred.
(ii) A minimum of 5 years’ experience as a transportation specialist in a coal / cement related industry.
DM – Container Freight Business
Bachelor’s degree in transportation management, logistics, project management, or similar preferred with 5 years of containerized business operations experience from the logistics/related entities. Must be able to lead the planning and operational activities of container freight trains.
DM – General/ Bulk Cargo Business
Bachelor’s degree holders, preferably in transportation, having min. 5 years’ experience as a cargo handling expert for freight and cargo operations, documentation, with clear understanding of the cargo loading and unloading process through mechanized process etc. Must be able to lead the planning and operational activities of container freight trains.
(i) The candidate must have Bachelor’s degree. 35 years
(ii) Having minimum 05 Years’ experience in relevant field.
Young, energetic and street-smart bachelor degree holders with excellent written and
communications skills along with high appetite of growing the commercial and operations of freight business are required for this position. The candidates must possess at least 3 years of freight business commercial/operations experience with complete knowledge of the cargo segment and ability to work long hours with railway as well as with the private sector professionals
(i) The candidate must possess Degree of ACMA/CIMA/CFA/CA (Finalist)/MBA Finance or any equivalent qualification
(ii) Having minimum Eight (08) Years’ experience in finance and accounts with experience of managing a team of accounts and finance officers. Should be able to assist the CFO in corporate and financial affairs and must have prior experience of working in a road/rail related entity.
(i) Post Graduate in Commerce with specialization in Accountancy / Finance
(ii) Having minimum Five (05) Years’ experience in relevant field with excellent command over MS excel along with working exposure of logistics industry is a must.
(i) Fresh BBA/MBA or other multi discipline graduates with basic understanding of how a company operates along with excellent written and communication skills.
(ii) The candidates would be required to support various depts. With multiple tasks (e.g. freight planning, commercial, operations, HR coordination etc. etc.)
(iii) Must be street smart, with excellent command over MS Office with a eager to move ahead in the career.
(i) The candidate must possess Bachelor Degree in IT responsible for the installation, operations and maintenance of computer systems and other technologies such as
communication systems, web design or internet security.
(ii) Having minimum 05 Years’ experience in relevant field and must be able to take care of the technology related projects of within and outside of the organization.
(i) The candidate must have Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or related field.
